Superficially, what does the world need?

I love looking at the newest gadgets, but it's all getting stale and most things are just gimmicky like really annoying alarm clocks, or a fashionable spin on an existing product. The lottery is stupid. Facebook was a great idea, along with Twitter. Really, have all our needs been satiated? Are we doomed to reproductions of popular things? Can anybody introduce me to something new?
