As a Christian, why is it important to dress modestly?

Well, I for one am tired of half naked teen aged tramps telling me I'm going to hell. This doesn't really apply to you, I would expect to see bikinis at the pool or beach. Ballet is an obvious exception as well. I'm talking about the self righteous little ponces who like to walk around in a state of undress that would make a stripper ashamed........they wear beach apparel to church and go door to door. My partner once mistook a christian proselytizer for a strip-o-gram.
