Getting surgery; can I still join the military. please help?

Once you get the surgery you have to wait six months to apply for a waiver. Gather all of the paperwork from your first doctor's visit to the end of your treatment and hold on to it for when you see your recruiter. That will be what you will need to give him so he can submit it for a waiver for you. There is no guarantee the waiver will be approved but you won't know until you try.
