Does pepcid cause iron deficiency?

Ive always gotten slightly anemic after my monthly visit but this month it got pretty bad. Im going to the doctors on monday for blood test to check for anemia and other vitamin and mineral defiencys but i was curious if Pepcid causes any problems with absorbing Iron from your food and multivitamins. i take a one-a-day but i also take pepcid and i hear acid reducers and blockers cause iron deficiencys over time and ive been taking them daily for two months for GERD
