Do Australians really use these words?

The only one of those words I haven't used, and would never use, is "crikey" (god he was an embarassing tit). I don't know what you mean by "when you use them", these are just part of our vocabularly, I use most of them every day (I'm off work today because I'm feeling a bit crook). When do you use the words "pal", "buddy", "trash" or "trunk"?
